No one is stating that you can earn salvation by work. But the bible teaches us it is unto to good works by grace through faith. (Eph 2:8-10). The bible teaches if we perpetually go against true love and Gods way by returning to sin(Rom 12:9) and evildoing("The very thing we came to be forgiven for"), then at some point we will be removed from Jesus Christ or assigned a place with the unbelievers. These examples("To name a few") are clearly stating that we must consider Gods mercy, grace and loving kindness, and not misuse such a great free gift, by trampling it underfoot.(Luke 12:45-46/Matt 25:24-30/Heb 10:26-29).
